Mostly everybody outside of Switzerland only knows Fondue and Raclette. My personal favorite dish is „Züri-Gschnätzlets with Rösti or Fries (and no mushrooms and intestines)“. In summer time I love „Fischchnuschperli“, fried fish filets, together with a salad it makes an excellent meal. If we are heading towards autumn I enjoy a hearty feast with game, Spätzle, steamed apples with cranberry sauce and chestnuts in caramel sauce. (I’m not a fan of red cabbage).

Very close to where I grew up, the Albis Restaurant on top of Albispasshöhe. Serving one of my favourite dishes: Züri Gschnätzlets ohni Pilz (no mushrooms).

You can dine in the 3rd highest tower of Switzerland, the prime tower. The food is good and view is great and you basically go for the whole experience

Kronenhalle is an institution in Zurich, an establishment of the rich. It’s pricey but the Züri-Gschnätzlets is great.
