One of the things that makes Zurich special is the water. The rivers Limmat and Sihl and of course the Zurich Lakeside basin. Therefore, just go with the flow and try out the restaurants by the lake. More traditional Swiss Cuisine you will find here. But, of course, Zurich has very international cuisine to offer, such as Oriental Cuisine, Tapas, Mexican. Being vegetarian is nowadays no problem anymore and the vegan options are growing more and more.

Fischers Fritz a restaurant right beside the camping and on the shore of the Lake of Zurich. Very nice ambiente with enjoyable atmosphere and good fresh food, perfect for after work-hangouts and also team dinners. A glass of wine is a good start into every summer night.
Frau Gerolds Garten
One of my favourite place to finish every evening. In Summer the offer many different dishes and in Winter the have a Fondue-Stübli. So all year long a place to be. With lights and flags and small stores a place with good vibes.
Meierei
Also known as „Wii-Garage“. My usuals: wine, pie or leek-bacon-quiche. In a super comfortable living room atmosphere, you can spend lovely evenings with friends and family. Enjoy from a small selection of wine and finish off the day.
La Taqueria
Authentic and good quality Mexican Food. Lovely decorated and a little hidden near Bahnhof Altstetten.
Loi
Next to Teo Jakobs design pieces. A little place called Loi (Swiss German for Lion) opend up. They serve delicious vegetarian / vegan dishes for lunch and dinner.
Lotti
Hungry from your shopping tour and looking for a simple food place at the Bahnhofstrasse? Lotti offers daily changing menus and everyday classics as „Züri-Flade“
Montmartre
A piece of Paris in Zurich ! The little sister of the Franzos offers similar delicious dishes with a french touch. My all time favourite: Thé au gingembre et des macarons.
Moudis Leckergarten
Middle East Mediterranean comfort food. Mezze, Falafel and my favourite Arajes Fusion, always a good choice.
Oh my Greek
Comfort food par excellence – Chicken Pita Gyros. You can enjoy those in Wiedikon or on the anual Christmas Market at Zurich Bellevue.
Osso
A modern playe where meat is only a side dish. The atmosphere is quite casual but the food is amazing.
Pumpstation
Only open when the sun is shining. Pumpstation is perfect for lunches outside.
Rechberg 1837
Lovely restaurant in the heart of the old town of Zurich. Young staff, great selection of swiss wines and a menu where meat is only a side dish. All ingredients locally sourced.
Wöschi
Another lovely place for an aperitive or dinner with lake view. Good quality of food with a nice atmosphere.
Bistrot à Paris
A little bit of Paris in Zurich. Bio-Cuisine in a lovely ambiente. And the tarte tatin, ends every meal perfect.
